It's been a week of big coffee wins for the City of London with the arrival of one much-vaunted opening, and the reveal that there's another interesting place on the way.

First up is the opening of WatchHouse Millennium Bridge. If you know this group, you'll know that the aesthetics are second to none. Their brand new riverside coffee spot has been designed by CAKE, who were also responsible for various Krickets and A Bar with Shapes for a Name. Sadly, it doesn't actually have riverside views, but as it's practically on the bridge, there's no reason why you can't grab a cup of

Here's where to find the best restaurants in Clerkenwell and Farringdon. Between Smithfield and Exmouth markets, there's a lot of promise tucked away in these back streets. 

We get our fair share of releases about restaurants doing chef takeovers, four-handers and other partnerships. At this time of the year, ice-cream pop-ups are ten a penny in London, but we have to say The House of Ice Cream that opens today in Farringdon has got our attention. The two week pop-up by Fuller's Kitchen, next to The Conductor pub, has been timed to launch ahead of National Ice-cream Day and will be serving up ice cream with a side of chips, chicken and hot sauce.
