Modern European | Westminster, Strand, Victoria
With an ex-sommelier from River Cafe and a chef from Brawn, visitors to Lorne should expect a particularly good wine list and a Modern British seasonal menu to match with it. It's deservedly rated as one of the best restaurants in Victoria.

"There is no doubt that Lorne is trying to offer a singular experience for this part of town: high-end yet comfortable, reassuring yet out of the ordinary. "To conquer Wilton Road, Lorne needs to get all of it right. This food was fussy, not to say wussy, lacking in guts, not the accompaniment needed by the singing wine list."
