Sager & Wilde's Mission has New Californian wines very much as the focus of the new venue. There are also (mini) classic American cocktails and a greater emphasis on food than their previous venue with James De Jong (previously at Islington's The Drapers Arms) in charge of a Californian influenced menu.

Arabica started out at Borough Market, armed with little more than a cool box and began selling a small range of mezze from an 8ft trestle table. The vibe they're going for at their Borough restaurant is 1960s Beirut meets 21st century London.

Rawduck have found a new location near London Fields. They'll now have a proper kitchen, so expect an expanded menu.

Just up the road from the Martin Bros' Chiswell Street Dining Room is another Martin gastropub, and this time the theme is a British pub with a "real wine and food focus" and an open kitchen with rotiserrie and charcoal grilled food on offer. As with the Dining Room, it's also attached to the old Whitbread brewery, opened as a luxury hotel from Montcalm.
