"The Café is a lovely place: the food is excellent, the service charming, the atmosphere bon vivant, the wine list appealing. I just wish there'd been an advisory sign saying, 'Don't overdo the starters' and another saying: 'Go easy on the carbohydrates'." READ REVIEW

"I’m not saying we don’t have a good time – we do, though that’s more to do with the fact that we treat the menu as drinking food (unsurprising, given its carby, frequently fried constituents). But anything that is described as a concept rather than a restaurant can basically do one." READ REVIEW

"Ratatouille has sneaked into the shepherd’s pie but feta cheese, Puy lentils and chickpea purée sideline it successfully and all is pulled together by an architectural crumpled dome of spiced feuille de brique (a leaf of filo basically). It is judged a hit." READ REVIEW
