The summer edition of Cocktails in the City – here’s what you should sip

Cocktails in the City are back again for their summer edition, bringing together 24 of London’s finest cocktail bars and bartenders for their two day festival in Bedford Square Gardens.

On the first night, we were invited to catch up with a few of our favourite bars and find out what’s worth sipping...

ttBig Red from TT Liquor. Pace yourself, this refreshing non-alcoholic option from TT Liquor blends fresh raspberries, lemon juice and cardamom syrup

 

wigmoreStorm in the city from The Wigmore. Specializing in beer-infused cocktails, The Wigmore have conjured up a new slant on the classic rum & ginger – adding ginger beer and aromatic Amaro di Angostura

 

nightjarHennessey spritz from Nightjar. The ever-inventive Nightjar go long with a light rose champagne cocktail served in a beeswax cone

 

opiumFord’s Negroni from Opium. Transporting their tiny bar to this year’s event, Opium have nailed the best experience - grab a seat, some bar snacks and sip on this delightfully light Negroni.

  

savgePenicillin from Savage Garden. A lively combination of smoky whisky, lemon and honey from newcomer Savage Garden (the bar, not the band)

When: The summer edition of Cocktails in the City runs from 12pm-5pm and 5:30pm – 10pm, 3-4 August

How to get tickets: Tickets are £20 and includes entry and one cocktail, available on the door or from their website.
