What: Megan's on The Green
In a nutshell: Med-inspired menu, brunch and pizza. And dogs.
Summing it all up: Children and dogs are equally welcome at Megan's new spot on Parson's Green Lane, a quaint little fairy-lit restaurant that'll be serving all day brunches, coffees and sourdough pizzas.
If you're one of the Londoners lucky enough to have a dog, then you may already be familiar with Megan's on King's Road, where four-legged friends are more than welcome to join you.
Now, Parson's Green will be getting its own canine-friendly Megan's, complete with a children's menu and charcuterie sharing boards.
They'll be serving an all-day brunch, which is good news considering that both their Chelsea base have been given accolades for their morning offerings. The Megan's on the Green will have their popular Eggs Benedict, as well as Shakshouka, and we're expecting to see a reappearance of Sweet Potato Baked Eggs and their Brioche Brunch Bap with hash brown cheese and bacon. It'll be available until 4pm - ideal if you're the sort of weekend warrior who thinks any pre-noon activity is akin to torture.
Outside of brunch, we've been told the menu will be a stripped back version of the one you may be used to in Chelsea. However, we have been guaranteed sourdough pizza, and 'deconstructed pan kebabs'. Those include lamb deconstructed pan kebab with shakshouka, yoghurt, pistachio & pita and Imam Biyaldi stuffed aubergine w/green chilli & tomato.
If it's like the original, the inside should be rather pretty, with the ceiling covered in fairylight bedecked-branches and paper blossoms, making it a charming mid-walk spot for a coffee or freshly squeezed juice while you're out walking Fluffy.
