Michael Wignall's three day pop-up at the Rib Room in Knightsbridge

michaelwignallSimon Rogan may be leaving London (for now) but another two Michelin-starred chef is heading this way, albeit for a more appropriately short pop-up.

Michael Wignall, will be in town for a three day pop-up at the Rib Room in Knightsbridge next month. Wignall, whose eponymous restaurant at The Latymer in Pennyhill Park, Surrey was elevated last year to two Michelin-star status along with Rogan's L'Enclume, will be serving up an eight-course tasting menu at dinner from Wednesday 15 May to Saturday 18 May 2013.

“This is an excellent opportunity to showcase my unique style of cooking to the London audience," says Michael. And that style, according to the Michelin Guide includes such signature dishes as hay-smoked trout with salt-baked beetroot and seaweed tea as well as suckling pig with Pyrenean mountain pork, braised swede and crackling.
