Heard's third burger bar will be in Covent Garden and comes with a "speakeasy-style" dessert bar

Having started in Borough Market only last year, formerly Michelin-starred chef Jordan Bailey is building quite the burger empire as he's getting ready to open his third Heard.

This latest burger bar will be in Covent Garden (it's taking the place of an old Byron), and on the ground floor it will be business as usual. That means it's all about smash burgers served in potato buns, with burgers like the signature Heard - a double smash patty with jalapeño hot honey, Ogleshield cheese, white onion and their secret sauce.

But this time he's also adding something new. Downstairs there will be a speakeasy-style dessert bar, which is where they'll be serving up desserts and cocktails. On the menu there, you'll find a Hot Apple Pie, Brûlée Cheesecake and Milk Soft Serve as well as ice cream sandwiches and sundaes. As for the cocktails, they'll all be created as pairings for specific burgers (so it sounds like you will also be able to order burgers in the dessert bar). 

Heard has really built up a very strong reputation in under two years, so if you haven't tried their burgers, this sounds like a good place to get started.
