Dim Sum Duck, one of King's Cross's best restaurants, is about to open a second location

Dim Sum Duck, one of King's Cross's best restaurants, is about to open a second location

It's already one of the best restaurants in King's Cross and Dim Sum Duck is clearly one of its busiest too, because they're getting ready to open a second restaurant in the area.

Taking over what used to be Meat House on Pentonville Road, the new place will be a second Dim Sum Duck, and it's only about a two-minute walk from the original restaurant. But don't expect something completely different here. They'll be serving the same menu as the original restaurant, seven days a week.

If you're unfamiliar with the restaurant, then the name shouldn't leave you too surprised about what they offer - a full all-day dim sum selection and roasted Cantonese duck. It's been constantly rated as one of the best dim sum restaurants in London, with Marina O'Loughlin saying that "everything I’ve eaten from here has been astonishing." Plus, with the roast duck itself costing around £15, it's very affordable for the quality you're getting.

So if you've had trouble getting a table at the pretty small original, then it's about to get much easier.
