We've been wondering when we'd hear where popular West London burger slingers No Drama were moving to, since they lost their own premises in Acton earlier this year. Now we have the answer. They'll be in charge of the food side of things at new pub, The Bush Tavern, that's just about to open in Shepherd's Bush. And this isn't just a residency, it's a permanent home.
The tavern is taking over the pub on Goldhawk Road that was previously a Brewdog. The people behind it now also run The Hawk's Nest, just a five-minute walk away. Here they'll be serving up beer from Birdhouse Brewery in Herne Hill and cocktails, with a side order of live music.
We don't know yet what's going to be on No Drama's burger menu, but a quick glance at what they were showcasing at a recent pop-up at West London pub The Parakeet might give you an idea. There, they were serving their cheeseburgers (with American cheese, sweet onion, pickles, mustard and hot sauce), aubergine parm burger, brined chicken thigh sandwich and more. They also did breakfast at The Parakeet, which we're hoping will also be the case at their new home.
So if you didn't visit them in Acton, a trip to their new home will be a must.
