They already have a Korean restaurant in Canary Wharf with 3KOBROS, and now the same team are coming to St Martin's Lane with SOOM.
The new restaurant, taking over the space that used to be The Theatre Cafe, will be all about Korean BBQ. So there will be individual stone tables, each with an electric BBQ grill and you'll be cooking your own meats and vegetables. There will be a number of platters to choose from, including various beef and pork platters, with options like wagyu and short rib on offer.
But you won't have to cook absolutely everything yourselves as they have dishes made by their chef, including pork belly wraps, dumplings, kimchi pancakes, salads and more. That's all served alongside a drinks menu of Korean-influenced cocktails.
If you're after dinner with friends in the Covent Garden area and after something a bit different, this should be well worth a look.
