The Clove Club bar is serving up bite sized versions of its classic dishes for the summer

The Clove Club bar is coming back for the summer

We were big fans of the bar at The Clove Club when it was open. It was a great opportunity to try the food and a few cocktails there without signing up for the pricey tasting menu (the dinner menu now starts at £180). Well now, for the rest of the summer, the Clove Club bar is coming back.

The return of the bar brings a new bar snacks menu like no other. On there, you'll find:

  • Warm crab dumpling, poached in a thickened stock, served with elderflower hollandaise and pepper oil
  • Fish Pakoras finished with coconut yoghurt and black lime
  • ‘Scottish taco’ with a pig's blood and buckwheat pancake folded around tender pork jowl
  • Lamb Sweetbreads with bay leaf emulsion

And there will also be chickpea panisse, chicken kebabs and Parmesan fries with Manjimup truffle. Wines from the main list will be available in the bar and cocktails too. You will be able to book, but unlike the restaurant, they will hold tables back for walk-ins. So, if you haven't tried the Clove Club yet, this is the ideal time.
