It's been a busy few months for The Public House Group. The company, who are behind The Pelican and The Hero pubs, pulled a double in Notting Hill, opening Canteen and The Fat Badger there in quick succession.
Now they've set their sights on a new pub much closer to the centre of town. They've taken over what what was The Flowerhouse Pub (and before that, Bok Bar) on Blandford Street right next to the currently-shuttered Chiltern Firehouse.
Their new pub is being renamed The Hart. There will be a pub on the ground floor "serving pub classics" and a restaurant on the second floor. The third floor is going to be what they're describing as "an intimate dining space".
We don't know much more than that. But, as ever, we'll keep you posted when there's news to share.
