Updated 9/1/25 with January's openings
Every month the inspectors at Michelin hand-pick a few new restaurants to add to their UK and Ireland guide. That doesn't mean the same as getting a star, but it does denote that they're interesting enough to merit a mention in the guide so they might potentially get a star in the future. And we're taking note when these have all been added in the month before this year's stars actually are revealed.
For December and January, they've added no fewer than 16 London establishments to the guide, all of which will be worth bearing in mind when Michelin reveal their 2025 stars on Monday 10 February. And they're an eclectic group of restaurants with everything from the Hot Dinners reader's best restaurant of 2023, Donia, to one of our favourite recent visits Sesta in Hackney which saw the management team taking over what used to be Pidgin. Jason Atherton should be happy as two of his establishments, Row on 5 and Three Darlings, make the grade.
In advance of that big reveal, here's which London restaurants have been added to the guide most recently.
