13/6/25 - updated with a look at the new restaurant's design

If you've ever watched Crazy Rich Asians and wondered what it was like dining at the top of that amazing hotel in Singapore, well you're soon going to get the next best thing. That's because CÉ LA VI, which is the restaurant, bar and club at the top of the famous Marina Bay Sands hotel, is opening in the rooftop space of the new Renzo Piano building in Paddington Square.

The restaurant, which also has rooftop presences in Dubai, Taipei and Tokyo, has now unveiled a look at what to expect (pictured above) and it's unlike anything else in Paddington (or indeed much of West London). The main restaurant and bar are on the 17th floor, while the top floor has a private room for 14 that's going to have some pretty spectacular views as well as a "more relaxed" lounge bar. It's a big old space, that's for sure.

As for the food, the restaurant offers a different menu in each location. While we're not sure exactly what's going to be served up in London, we do now know a couple of the dishes coming our way include miso seabass with green Szechuan sauce as well as lobster noodles with aromatic lobster oil, with the overall menu described as "modern Asian cuisine". There will also be a "dedicated dim sum offering".

The group behind it, ADMO, have already opened the unfortunately named CLAP London and have plans to open Mykonos restaurant Nammos in Mayfair next year. As their CEO boasts, "London’s spirit of innovation and its appetite for global flavours makes it the perfect home for our next chapter."
