Looking at some of the recent openings, there are a few notable trends around London at the moment. Greek/Mediterranean is one and classic French cooking is another. And then there's the rise and rise of the smash burger.
The latest to embrace all things smashed is Supra Burger. It comes from the guy behind rotisserie chicken spot Cocotte, Romain Bourrillon, which is why they're kicking off their first residency at the Cocotte in Queen's Park. There will be five burgers on offer to start with:
- The Supra Burger - cheese, onion, pickles and Supra sauce
- Bacon Cheeseburger - cheese, bacon, onion and a secret house sauce
- Classic Cheeseburger - cheese, salad, tomato and golden sauce
- Spicy BBQ - topped with grilled onions and cheese
- Truffle Burger - cheese, crispy onions and truffle sauce.
And on the side, they'll have fries, truffle fries, popcorn chicken and chicken tenders. So if you're fancying a smash burger out west, this is worth a look.
