Its currently a Heddon Street residency. but Filipino-inspired restaurant Sarap is looking for a permanent home, and is using crowdfunding to get it done.
If successful, it'll be a good track record for the 10 Heddon Street springboard site which has once been home to previous pop-up to permanent restaurants Manteca and Fallow. For the new restaurant, owner Ferdinand ‘Budgie’ Montoya is planning to open in Carnaby, specifically on Kingly Court. That means he'll be neighbours to another couple of former pop-ups, Darjeeling Express and Imad's Syrian Kitchen.
The address isn't confirmed yet, but they're promising it'll seat around 45, with another five up by the bar. As for the menu, expect it to be a continuation of what's gone down well at Heddon Street, particularly his signature Lechon (suckling pig) and also the amazing Crispy Pata (pictured above). We'll have more on Sarap's new home as the campaign progresses - we'll add the news as we get it.
