The Ned reveals The Parlour, a new basement jazz and cabaret bar

Just when you thought they couldn't fit any more into The Ned, Soho House has managed to sneak in a new jazz and cabaret bar, The Parlour.

It'll be in one of their basement spaces, running from Wednesday to Friday evening and residencies kicking it all off will include saxophonist and clarinettist Giacomo Smith and his five-piece band and British singer, songwriter and pianist Reuben James. They're also planning the Black Cat Cabaret-run High Society every Saturday.

As for the food, there's a new menu. That includes a yakitori section with dishes like Shitake mushroom and yuzu miso, Umeshiso chicken breast with plum shiso and Gyukushi Japanese A3 wagyu. Elsewhere on the menu there's a Chicken Kiev with black truffle and spinach, a Whole Lobster Thermidor with brandy, parmesan and English mustard or Wild Seabass with capers, samphire, tomatoes, croutons. So there will be plenty to snack on while watching the entertainment.

All that's alongside new cocktails like the Gypsy Rose with Bombay Sapphire gin, Champagne, hibiscus and citrus.

If you're really after something different after being stuck inside so much this year - this could do the trick.
