Sushi Revolution opens in Brixton, from Sticks & Sushi alumni

A new sushi restaurant has opened in Brixton that looks well worth checking out. Sushi Revolution comes from two people who have come from Sticks'n'Sushi,  Aidan Bryan and Tom Blackshaw, and this is their first venture going It alone.

The name comes from the kind of menu they're serving. So there's the more classic sushi offering or the "revolution" side of things which have their own personal twist. So alongside sashimi and nigri, the menu includes:

  • Futomaki including the Revolution roll - seared fish, cucumber, mange tout, avocado, spicy mayo, teriyaki, sesame
  • Kaburimaki including Tuna Revolution - tempura prawn, spicy mayo, tuna, tonkatsu
  • Scallop Kataifi with black garlic aioli
  • Panko Popcorn shrimp with chilli mayo chives and parmesan

Alongside that, there's a short cocktail, beer and wine section. They're takeaway only for the moment - but will be open properly later in May.
