Spare a thought for London's catering companies. All their work stopped the minute events were cancelled and, unlike restaurants, who knows when large gatherings might be back in our diaries again?
One such company, who's moved to a different way of doing things is N5 Kitchen. This Islington-based catering company has started popping up at Maison Bleue Cafe near Highbury Fields every weekend.
The company, which in normal times is usually supplying gorgeous food for fashion shoots and parties, started lockdown raising funds for NHS meals. To that end, they've managed to make and deliver over 2600 meals which is an amazing achievement.
Now, their 'mini-cafe' is taking over the popular cafe in the evenings. They'll be serving their "seasonal, simple and colourful food for people to take away and enjoy in the park or at home".
As for what's on the menu - it'll change every week but you can always expect to find their chorizo & poppy seed sausage rolls, salads and signature cookies. Recent dishes have included Shawarma spiced lentils and dark chocolate and sea salt cookies.
