This week, Chelsea is getting a new Japanese 'street food' spot - if you can really count the mezzanine floor of high-end sushi spot Dinings SW3 as 'street'. Well maybe that's as street as Chelsea gets.
Kurabu will be the name of the restaurant's new lounge space, taking over the area that used to be set aside for private dining. It'll be serving a completely new range of Japanese snacks and cocktails.
Chef Chef Masaki Sugisaki's menu will feature dishes like:
- Crispy sushi rice - topped with a range of fish tartares
- Sushi rolls and platters
- Tar Tar Chips served with Snow Crab with Avocado & Jalapeno Mayonnaise or Roasted Beetroot & Tahini Soy
- Mini buns - choose from Teriyaki Japanese Wagyu Beef with Foie Gras Mousse or Shrimp Tempura with Sweet Chilli Soy & Spicy Sesame
On the drinks list you'll find Jasmine Martini with Haku vodka; the Gimuretto, a Japanese take on the Gimlet with yuzu, sakura leaves and aromatic teas or you could opt for Dinings’ own-label sake from Konotomo.
