The Donovan Bar in Mayfair's Brown's Hotel has been pulling in some impressive residencies of late, like Mitch Tonk and Andrew Wong. Their latest continues that as Nieves Barragan Mohacho, just celebrating a new Michelin star for Legado (on top of the star for Sabor), takes over the food in March.
She'll be adding a selection of small plates to the menu, so you'll find dishes like seared tuna with silky ajo blanco and Porthilly pysters finished with fino sherry emulsion and citrus oil. They'll also have pork ear ‘a feira,’ confit artichoke with lovage aioli and arroz melosa on the menu. All those are paired with cocktails by bar legend Salvatore Calabrese and their Director of Mixology Federico Pavan
So, if you're in Mayfair and can't get a seat at Sabor, this is well worth knowing about.
