Sabine scores a second rooftop, this time opening in Holborn

At the time of writing, it might not seem like the time to start talking about rooftop restaurants, but come late spring there's a new opening to keep an eye on. Sabine has already opened a rooftop bar in the City with a great view of St Paul's and now they're getting ready to open a second.

This time, they're taking over a rooftop in Holborn at the top of the NYX hotel. There's been a rooftop bar there for a while, but so far the hotel has struggled to give it an identity, something that Sabine should be able to help sort out. While there is a terrace with retractable windows, there's also a sizable inside space, so it's an all-weather all-year rooftop.

Relatively dark-hued in its previous guide as The Glasshouse, it looks like they're brightening things considerably, promising "Coral and terracotta tones". As for what they're offering, it'll primarily be drinks and small plates. At the original Sabine, those plates include things like tacos, mac n cheese croquettes, arancini and both chicken and beef burgers. The menu hasn't been unveiled here, so we'll have more of that closer to the opening.
