Saiphin’s Thai Kitchen in London Fields is the newest project from Rosa’s duo

The low-down

The duo behind Rosa’s cafe are certainly keeping busy. Not content with opening the Lao Cafe in December, and the eighth (!) branch of Rosa’s just last month, Saiphin and Alex Moore now have their eyes fixed on their next endeavour: Saiphin’s Thai Kitchen, in London Fields.

Food is similar to the menu at the main Rosa’s restaurants, comprising of seasonal curries, salads, soups and stirfries. Saiphin’s will also be providing a takeaway and delivery service, as well as a simple eat in setup. Some of the dishes on offer include:

  • Drunken noodles stir fried with holy basil sauce and Thai herbs
  • Pad thai with tamarind sauce, eggs and crushed peanuts
  • Beef mussamam curry with potatoes and cashew nuts
  • Stir fried aubergine in yellow bean, chilli, soya sauce & sweet basil.
  • Papaya salad with a mint and chilli dressing

There’s no doubt we’ll be hearing more from the couple in the future Rosa’s is scheduled for another three openings in the coming months alone, including in One Tower Bridge and Seven Dials. Plus, there’s rumours that this won’t be the only Saiphin’s Thai Kitchen, in or outside London. Watch this space.
