Ramen may not necessarily be the food you'd think of first for a blowout meal, but an event coming up at Hix Tramshed will require slightly more of your wonga than usual.
Every month, chef-proprietor Mark Hix holds special events at the Tramshed where he invites just 12 people to join him for a special dinner. For £200 you get to hang out with Mark, watch him cook and just generally shot the breeze with him.
We reckon his April event will be extremely popular as it involves the super hip Bone Daddies. Billed as everything you want to know about ramen and sake, the dinner will be a Japanese feast created by ramen extraordinaire Ross Shonhan of Bone Daddies in conjunction with Hix.
Mark and Ross will show their guests how to make the best noodles and then serve up a five course feast including sashimi and ramen, paired with a selection of Sake, introduced by Sake sommelier Natsuki Kikuya.
Bone Daddies and HIX at the Library Kitchen, Tramshed, takes place on Tuesday 30th April from 6.30pm. Tickets for the evening are now on sale, priced at £200 per person. For further information and to book please email Jo Harris.
