• Kensington Place adds a pop-up fish & chip shop Notting Gill Chippy

  Kensington Place has recently had a bit of a refurb and now they're adding something new - a pop up chippy. The food, as befits its location, is certainly more upmarket than most fish and chip shops.

  For instance, on the menu will be:

  • Lobster Thermi-Bun, a savoury doughnut filled with lobster thermidor sauce (pictured). 
  • Bitter & Twisted Scampi - made with whisky-cask-matured Harviestoun

• Casa Cruz brings a touch of South American design to Notting Hill

  

  There's a new restaurant opening in Notting Hill with a pretty strong pedigree - it comes from South American restaurateur and designer, Juan Santa Cruz.

  So with a designer behind it - the design will be worth checking out. Although unfortunately we have nothing to show of the actual place yet. What we do know is that there will be a big oval copper bar as you enter - and as for the rest, it's
