Blacklock

British | Soho, Fitzrovia, Covent Garden

Blacklock's main speciality is chops - beef, pork and lamb and all at pretty good value. You'll want to go all-in with the chops dripping onto flatbread, but keep an eye out for some great meats on the specials board. With most cocktails costing just £5 a good time is guaranteed.

"Top of the chops? The lamb cutlet and the pork belly, of which Archie dolefully states, "We're just eating fat now, aren't we? Lovely, lovely fat."" READ REVIEW

"Blacklock is not dining as event. It’s too quick to be the focus of the evening. It’s the thing you do before or after the other thing you do. It’s there to make life simpler. On those terms it works." READ REVIEW

" Chops arrived, chops were demolished. The all-in platters appeared on pieces of oily, meat juice-soaked flatbread, which were utterly delicious and, frankly, the enemy of clean living. The lamb and pork were great. I wasn’t sold on the beef, but it certainly wasn’t sent back either." READ REVIEW
