To celebrate five years tenure at the InterContinental on Park Lane, Theo Randall is going to be serving up a special menu made up of his most popular dishes from the restaurant over those years.
The Best of Theo Randall at The InterContinental menu will be served from 1 December 2011 to 23 December 2011 priced at £65 per person and includes pan-fried squid with borlotti beans from Lamon, chilli, anchovy and parsley; ‘cappelletti di vitello’ (fresh pasta stuffed with slow-cooked veal, pancetta, porcini and trompette de la mort mushrooms), a version of which has been a fixture on the menu since the restaurant opened, ‘burrida di pesce’ (fish stew including lobster, red mullet, sea bass and clams). To finish, dessert will be Theo’s signature Amalfi lemon tart.
Randall's obviously a chap who, when he finds a place he likes, tends to stay there. He was ten years as head chef at the River Cafe before he came to the InterContinental.
