Feeling festive yet? If not, Selfridges have just the event to put you in the mood.
If you head for their Food Hall on Oxford Street on Thursday 1 December 2011 between 6pm to 8pm you'll find a host of food and drink tastings and demonstrations going on.
St John's Fergus Henderson will be on hand to give you tips on bread making (and mince pie sampling), while Tom Parker Bowles and Matthew Forte will be tackling the not-very-difficult task of trying to persuade customers to taste Mr. Trotter’s great British Pork Crackling.
There'll be tips on what to choose for the Christmas lunch from top butcher Jack O Shea as well as an appearance by top Iberico ham producer Manuel Maldondo (whose meat is served up at Bermondsey's Jose) who'll be carving slivers of Iberico for you to try.
One for the diary, definitely.
