You know, if it ever, ever stops raining (Thanks Drought Order!) we rather like the sound of the rooftop barbecuing lesson that's going to take place at One New Change next month. On the afternoon of Sunday 20th May, chefs from Jamie Oliver's Barbecoa will take to the roof of the City shopping centre to show you how to BBQ like a pro.
All the meat will come from Barbecoa Butchery - and anyone who's popped into their shop will know that these guys know their rump from their fore ribs. And while we don't think they'll let you have a go yourself on the 'cue you do get to scoff your way through the chef's chargrilled offerings.
Tickets cost £50 which not only lets you feast in the open air, whilst gazing on Wren's fine architecture but you'll also be drinking London’s finest handmade Gin & Summer Cup cocktails, courtesy of Sipsmith Independent Spirits and doing good as 50% of the proceeds will go to The Prince's Trust.
