Oree French boulangerie to bring artisan breads and pastries to the Fulham Road

Oree French boulangerie to bring artisan breads and pastries to the Fulham Road

Who wouldn't be pleased to learn about a lovely new French-style boulangerie opening in their neighbourhood? The lucky folks in questin are Fulhamites who'll have a new boulangerie and kitchen, Orée, opening on the Fulham Road. They'll have all manner of freshly baked viennoiserie, artisan bread and fine patisserie to serve up - either to eat in or take away.

Every bit of their bread will be made from scratch on site. The two chaps in charge, Head Chef Sebastien Charrier and Head Bakery Chef, Olivier Malebrera have sourced 20 specialist French flours for their breads and will sell Rye, Sourdough, Buckwheat, Nordic and Japanese, as well as a seasonal ‘bread of the month’.

Just reading a list of what'll be on the patisserie counter could make you put on weight - everything from escargot aux pistaches to cannelés, financiers, croissants and kugelhofs as well as British scones.

As befits their neighbourhood, expect to find a whole heap of healthier options too, so for breakfast there'll be white egg omelettes and, at lunch, salads created by the Executive Chef of the Arts Club.

The coffee will be via Climpson & Sons with tea from Parisian merchant Kusmi.

Orée opens March 11 2016 at 275 – 277 Fulham Road, London, SW10 9NY. Opening hours will be Mon-Sunday 7am to 7pm. Keep up with their news on Instagram at OreeBoulangerie
