The Eternal Garden
Unit 52 Skylines Village, London E14 9TS
This is a great, healthy spot and I pop in to order something every morning! They started out with just deliveries but then opened a little store right by me last year. The food is obviously really nutritious, but it tastes amazing and I love their smoothies.
Rice Guys
Reuters Plaza, London E14 5AJ
I’m obsessed with the rice bowls from Rice Guys – they do exactly what they say on the tin. I always order the Hainanese Style Chicken – it’s simple but the flavours are incredible.
TDO Café-Bistro
1 Cassilis Rd, London E14 9LQ
This is a quiet local gem with Eastern European roots. Their home-cooked dishes - especially the soups and baked goods - have a comforting, handmade quality that I really admire. It’s humble but full of heart!
Hazev
Discovery Dock Apartments West, 2 S Quay Square, London E14 9RT
Hasev is my go-to when I’m craving fresh, flavourful Mediterranean food that doesn’t feel heavy. It’s tucked away near the river and has a really welcoming vibe. Everything’s cooked perfectly and packed with herbs and spices. It’s a great spot for a casual lunch or an easy dinner that still feels special.
Sticks n Sushi
1 Crossrail Pl, London E14 5AR
I know it's basic but Sticks’n’Sushi is just my go-to when I want something really well executed but still relaxed. The menu offers a clean, modern take on Japanese dining, and it's a nice blend of style and substance.
