Dumbo's French smash burgers have found a home in Soho

A year ago, French burger joint Dumbo arrived in London (from France), opening in a small space in Shoreditch. It quickly became one of the new must-have burgers to try, sitting alongside other crazes like Supernova.

Now they're about to open a new Dumbo and this one will be both a lot more central and a little bigger too. They've taken over a site on Berwick Street that's already been known for its burgers, as the Soho Tommi's Burger Joint used to be here.

Do not expect any changes to the menu, though. There will still be the very simple menu of a smash burger, a vegetarian "Earth burger" and tempura nuggets (which we have to admit to thinking were actually better than the burgers on a recent visit). But it will be both easier to get to than the Soho branch and also much, much busier than that. But if you're in Soho and want to do a quick compare and contrast between this, Supernova and Junk, that will certainly be a lot easier.
