A new pizza restaurant is coming to King's Cross with the arrival of the latest Pizza Pilgrims. They're taking over a space that's on the corner of Caledonian Road and Pentonville Road (and just a few doors down from another popular King's Cross pizzeria, Pizza Union). Taking over a space that used to be a hair salon, it's just a two-minute walk from the main station.
If you've been to Pizza Pilgrims before, you'll know the drill here. It's all about Neapolitan pizza, with their dough made fresh daily and pizzas including the usual margherita and marinara and also more unique offerings like:
- Pizz& Love - Artichoke hearts, sautéed mushrooms, olives, red onion, San Marzano tomato DOP, plant-based mozzarella & basil.
- Amalfi Coast - Cetaran anchovies DOP from Amalfi, tomato, FDL mozzarella, olives, capers, garlic herb oil, basil & chilli
- You’ve Got Maiale - Nduja, Italian sausage, pepperoni, San Marzano tomato DOP, FDL mozzarella, red onion & balsamic glaze.
They're always a very reliable place to drop in for a pizza, so this is definitely one to remember if you're in the King's Cross area.
