20/10/25 - updated with opening details.
It's all change for Fergus Henderson and Trevor Gulliver's teeny bakery in Neal's Yard with the news that they've moved to bigger and better premises. The good thing is that fans of their custard doughnuts and amazing bread won't have to go too far to find the new bakery. They've moved just across the yard to a much bigger and better space.
It is a lot bigger than the old site and split across two floors, so this is much more than just bakery 2.0. They have a booze licence here and it will be open until later, so it's more like the bar at the original St John than a more traditional bakery. There's a short wine list and food menu so you will be able to order a glass of St John rosé along with a plate of oysters and a St John doughnut to finish.
It would be a very handy, hidden-away spot in Covent Garden, so one to keep in mind in the area.
