Pick & Cheese brings its cheese conveyor belt to Camden

Pick & Cheese brings its cheese conveyor belt to Camden

There are many great places for food inside Seven Dials Market, but the one that understandably gets most of the attention is Pick & Cheese. From the same people behind The Cheese Bar, that's the restaurant that's based around a moving conveyor belt of various cheese dishes. It's quite the thing and worth the trip to the food hall alone to have a look. But soon it won't be the only cheese conveyor belt in town.

The team are converting The Cheese Bar in Camden to London's second Pick & Cheese restaurant. Here, you'll find a new 18-metre conveyor belt winding its way around the restaurant from which you can pick dishes as they travel past you. On the winding belt, you'll find dishes like Cropwell Bishop Stilton & Kimchi, Cornish Yarg with Pea & Mint Pesto or St
Ella Goat’s Cheese paired with Rose Turkish Delight. Everything's colour-coded, so you'll know how much each dish costs when you pick them up.

It's not just the cheese on the belt, though. You'll be able to order grilled cheese sandwiches, including one with La Latteria mozzarella and hot honey or a whole baked Baron Bigod cheese. They'll also have gelato for dessert which, yes, also features cheese. They'll change regularly, with one example being Rosary goats cheese, honey and rosemary served with a shot of Jurancon - a sweet wine twist on an affogato.

On top of that, every Wednesday will be Bottomless Plate night, where you can grab unlimited plates of cheese and charcuterie from the belt for £29.50.

We love the whole cheese conveyor belt idea and they do it all very well, so if you haven't tried them in Seven Dials, you should make the trip to Camden.
