Tattu, the high-end Chinese restaurant with a view on the top of the Now Building, originally started as a group of restaurants in the North. Now the same team behind that are bringing another of their restaurants to London. This time it's the Mediterranean-inspired Fenix.
Currently only in Manchester, Fenix will be taking over the space that was Henry's on Piccadilly (which closed mid 2024), a fairly big space next to Green Park station. From the plans (as we haven't actually been into Henry's ourselves), it looks like a pretty large ground-floor space with an open kitchen at the centre and there will be a separate bar here too.
As for the food, no details have been released about the London opening yet, but we'll assume something pretty similar to Manchester. Based on that, there should be moussaka made with caramelised aubergine & slow-cooked short rib, wagyu dolmadaki and lamb shank giouvetsi on the menu. So they're definitely aiming for a more high-end Mediterranean/Greek approach.
We'll have more news on this closer to the opening. London does seem to be in love with The Med and Greece when it comes to restaurants right now, so we can see this doing well.
