Twenty8 NoMad is the Covent Garden hotel's revamped New York-inspired restaurant

NoMad London has had great success with its cocktail bar Side Hustle, but even though it's housed in an incredible room, the hotel's restaurant hasn't had as big a profile. Now they're getting ready to relaunch it as a New-York-inspired brasserie.

Called Twenty8 NoMad (based on the address of the hotel), it'll also bring in a light refresh of the already impressive room, led by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. They're describing the new look as a more laid-back affair with "moody, playful charm" and a new wood-burning hearth has been added to the room.

As for the menu, they're taking their influences from New York and French brasseries, with dishes including a dry-aged, fire-roasted Galician Blond steak (cooked in the aforementioned hearth). They'll also have a new raw bar section, a seafood tower and the signature NoMad Chicken with black truffles and foie gras will carry over to the new place. As for the drinks, we like the sound of the new Twenty8 Martini Menu, which includes the Twenty8 Martini, finished with a smoked olive and blue cheese garnish.

It's one of London's most beautiful dining rooms, so it'll be interesting to see how this refresh does.
