Another restaurant is adding to the huge growth in places to eat out that we've seen in Canary Wharf in recent years. This time, it's the turn of Brother Marcus, the Mediterranean-influenced restaurant that's a particular hit at brunch.
This latest outpost will be on the ground floor of the YY London building at One Canada Square and it's apparently their biggest yet, with room for just under 180 people, both inside and out. Over 80 of those will be outside on a big terrace (and bar space) protected by a retractable roof that shows this team understands the British summer.
As for the food, it'll be the same Eastern med fare that you'll find in their other restaurants, from various dips to mezza that includes calamari with zhoug aioli or grilled pork rib-eye with grape beurre blanc, And as for those brunches, they feature sweet potato fritters, shakshuka, eggs benedict and more.
