5/1/24 - Updated with the soft launch info
The march of fresh pasta restaurants across London continues, with a fourth Emilia's about to join the fray. This time they're heading to Baker Street, just down the road from Sherlock Holmes' pretend gaff and next to Regent's Park.
As with every Emilia's, all the pasta will be made fresh on-site. Here it'll be in a special pasta station by the corner windows, tempting in the passers-by and tourists on Baker Street. As for that pasta itself, expect similar dishes to their other locations, including:
- Casarecce truffled cacio e pepe
- 4-hour slow-cooked pappardelle béchamel bolognese
- Casarecce homemade pistachio and basil pesto with sautéed cherry tomatoes
- Handmade ravioli with grass-fed lamb, parsley and parmesan in butter & sage sauce
Sourcing is a big thing here, with Devon grass-fed beef for the bolognese and the pecorino and parmesan sourced direct from Italy. We hear good things about the other Emilia's locations, so this should be a very handy restaurant for the area.
