5 food and drink things to look out for in this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show

If you're heading down to Chelsea for this year's flower show there are a few food and drink themed gardens and displays, along with some new bars and restaurants. Here's our guide.

1. The Beezantium garden from The Newt

As the show's title sponsor, The Newt in Somerset's garden here at Chelsea features an immersive beehive that you can wander round to discover more about bees and their habitats.

2. The Laduree cart

Not only are Laduree sponsoring a floral installation by Poppy Sturley down at the Bull Ring gate at Chelsea this year, but they're also selling special limited edition floral painted macarons from a vintage cart at the show.

3. Spring Garden at RHS Chelsea

Chef Skye Gyngell (Spring, Heckfield Place) has got a restaurant at the show if your budget extends to hospitality packages. They've got a series of private chalets at the show that can seat up to 40 for lunch and dinner, or you can just pop along for an evening drinks do with canapes.

4. The Mush Room

In the great tent look out for this gold medal-winning display by Sussex mushroom growers Caley Brothers (now run by two sisters Lorraine and Jodie). Their display of homegrown edible mushrooms is quite spectacular.

5. The Newt Cyder stand and Babylonstoren rosé stand

The Newt's owners Karen and Koos Bekker are also behind Babylonstoren estate in South Africa which is here at the show with their rosé bar. The wine they're serving up just got released this week in time for Chelsea. There's also a cyder bar next door featuring cider made from apples grown in The Newt's Somerset orchards.
