Someday margarita, taco and pizza bar hits Finsbury Park

someday finsbury park station

Finsbury Park residents who've been watching the opening of all the new food and drink businesses at the station over the past few months may have been a little disappointed by how slightly 'chain-y' it is. But something new and independent has flung open its doors and that place is Someday.

Run by the same team who own Moth Bar in Hackney, the self-styled margarita and spritz bar genuinely sounds like something new for the area. In addition to treats like Pina Cola Margaritas - a mash-up we're fully down with - the menu includes:

  • Elote corn ribs with avocado crema, cheddar and Mexican lime salt
  • Crispy cod tacos with tomatilla salsa, chipotle mayo and white cabbage
  • Chipotle roast sweet potato bowl with kale, romaine, tendersteam, cranberries, queso fresco and peanut salsa macha
  • Korean grilled chicken burgre with kimchi slaw and gochujang mayo

You'll also be able to grab pizza by the slice along with whole pies from Ace Pizza who are serving up their 48 hours cold fermented NYC/Neapolitan pizzas. Their section here will include their popular Honey Pie along with new options like the Bob Mortadella with mortadella, Sichuan spice and burrata cream.

There's live music being curated by the folks at LNZRT and it's intended to open late at the weekends.
