What: The Jones Family Kitchen
In a nutshell: The next from the Jones Family Project
Summing it all up: Following on from their original Shoreditch opening, this is the latest from The Jones Family, this time a Kitchen more than a Project, with a big emphasis on grilled meat.
The low-down
With the success of Shoreditch's The Jones Family Project behind them, this sees the team opening their second place in the new Eccleston Yard development in Belgravia. They've nabbed one of the development's prime sites, looking inward onto the yard itself.
As the name suggests, it's more about the restaurant this time around, with the focus on Josper-grilled meats - all sourced from the Ginger Pig. They've also brought Oliver Pollard on board as Group Exec Chef (he's worked for Marcus Wareing and Jason Atherton as well as having stints at Barrafina and Smokestak under his belt).
On top of the wonderful meats, expect to see Cornish day boat fish from Flying Fish on the menu, alongside new dishes like seared scallops with cauliflower and wild garlic gremolata (pictured above).
On the drinks front, there'll be barrel-aged cocktails and a large G&T menu.
As for the restaurant, that will seat around 90 and add a further 30-50 seats with the outside terrace which opens onto the beautifully-landscaped yard area.
