What: Eccleston Place
In a nutshell: Trendy seasonal dining, very photo friendly...
Summing it all up: Tart London made a name for themselves catering to huge brands. Now they’re taking things up a notch with their first venue, which on top of having an airy, all-day restaurant with a range of healthy, and not-so-healthy options, will have a photography studio, an event space for 350 and a retail space...
Belgravia’s getting a slick new all-day restaurant space by the name of Eccleston Place. It’s the new project from the Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison, a pair of entrepreneur chefs responsible for the Tart London catering company, who’ll be aiming to make the place a “light space” that “marries food, fashion, lifestyle and photography.” They'll be the flagship opening in the Grosvenor's new Eccleston Yards development in Belgravia.
There’s been no menu released yet, but we’ve been told to expect an all-day seasonal dining affair with “both healthy and more decadent options” and items to take away.
We’re expecting a fairly finger-on-the-pulse, photogenic selection of on-trend dishes, not least of all because the Tart London duo also write an Evening Standard recipe column (and their main site is dripping with gorgeous food pics - one of those is above). To date, they’ve shared over 100 recipes including modern dishes like blood orange ice-cream, roast parsnip soup with prosciutto and walnuts, honey cake with brandy cream and wild mushroom pie. So that should give you an idea of what'll be on offer.
Instagrammers, on your marks...
