Ex Duck & Waffle chef Tom Cenci comes to Bermondsey to launch Loyal Tavern, taking over from Village East (but run by the same group). There will be seasonal menus - and cheese toasties for late-night snacks. 

This will be the fourth Farmer J in London as they serve up healthy breakfast and lunchtime snacks in their signature "fieldtrays". 

Right next door to their pizza restaurant, Zia Lucia are opening Berto, a fresh pasta restaurant in Holloway. There will be affordable fresh pasta, Italian wines and more.

If you're after a casual meal of Mediterranean small plates, with a menu inspired by Tel Aviv, then HAYA in Notting Hill will be the place to head.

Run by a Kiwi chef whose Sydney cafe championed the Flat White, this new all-day Belgravia space will serve up everything from interesting brunches to epic hot sandwiches and, of course, top-notch coffee.

Taking up space in the new mindful hotel Inhabit in Paddington is the second branch of the wellness cafe group, run by a wellness centre based in Devon.
