The problematic fried chicken giant Chick-fil-A is gearing up for its first London restaurant opening and they've picked Kingston.
It's the fast food company's second go at the UK following two attempts in 2019 in Reading and Aviemore. Both of those branches ended up closing after campaigns highlighting the company's anti-LGBTQ+ stance, illustrated by their charitable support of two very conservative Christian charities.
Since then, things have moved on. Chick-fil-A stopped funding those two particular charities and have gone on record saying they now focus on charities
