You may have enjoyed the wares of one of this year's YBF Street Food nominees Decatur at Kerb and Druid Street, but now the business is moving indoors to look after the kitchen at Pamela - the new Haggerston bar opened by the folk behind Rita's.
Tom Browne is the chap behind the venture - a former travel agent who spent years working in the States and never lost his love for it, Decatur is Tom's take on hard to find Southern US specialties, like chargrilled oysters,
...This rather fine looking shellfish dish is the crab burger from Claw. And if just gazing at that photo makes you fancy it half as much as we do right now, you'll be wanting to know that the streetfood folk behind it have just taken residency at The Three Compasses in Dalston.
From this week until the end of January they'll be serving up a mainly crab-based menu with all their crab coming from Start Bay in Devon.

This Dalston spot will be taking over Brunswick East coffee in Dalston from 6pm every Wednesday to Saturday this November. And the B.I.B? Well that stands for Bag in Box. There was really only one event in town you had to be at last night and that was the annual Auction Against Hunger. Earlier on, our online auction for them had raised a massive £14,858.85 (and once again - thank you all!.) A stellar line-up of chefs and street traders set up stall at Street Feast in Dalston to offer the lucky ones who'd managed to get tickets a top night out.
