This Highbury burger spot boasts a head chef who's worked in Michelin-starred kitchens and has burgers on the menu which really deserve a gourmet label. Expect BIG burgers, with pork belly, oxtail, bone marrow and more thrown into the mix. 

We do quite love Le Bun burgers so it's very good indeed to hear about their return to London. While it was possible to eat Le Bun burgers at the sadly departed Carte Blanche in London Fields, this will be a proper return for the French/American-inspired burgers by Andy Taylor.

Burger and Beyond have set up their first permanent restaurant in Shoreditch - with the emphasis on building the "beyond" part. We head down for a look. 

You'll have seen Burger and Beyond at street food markets all over town, and now they're settling down in Shoreditch. Expect all your favourite burgers and a lot more new additions too. 

Well this really is the end of an era. The original burger boys that started this whole crazy thing, MEATliquor, are being turfed out of their original restaurant site. In a tweet today they revealed that a developer plans to level the carpark building they're in and encouraged customers to find them a new home, adding a serious sweetener of £20k for the person who gets them into the right central London site.

They've been growing in popularity recently and now the bleeding plant burger - aka the Beyond Burger - is getting a place all to itself in Brixton, thanks to Halo Burger. The Beyond Burger is meant to be as close to looking at tasting like a real beef burger as possible - even with beetroot juice to represent, let's say a "rare" beef burger's look.

They'll have a simple menu
