Much-loved bistro and wine bar, Lady of the Grapes in Covent Garden, is expanding to London Bridge with a brand new spot in the iconic Menier Chocolate Factory just steps from Borough Market.
On the ground floor and terrace, Modern French bistro fare from chef Matyáš Plzák (formerly of Frog by Adam Handling, Frenchie and Mãos) will be served alongside a 400-strong wine list, exclusively from female producers of organic and biodynamic wine, including 25 by the glass.
Downstairs, speakeasy-style wine bar, Forbidden Fruit’s moody vaulted interior will be the backdrop to an extended wine list accompanied by a simpler French charcuterie and a small bites menu.
