Clio, a new modern Greek restaurant, has just opened on Marylebone's popular Chiltern Street.
Led by executive chef Glen Ballis and with a kitchen headed by Louis Korovias (ex-Locanda Locatelli and Pied à Terre) it's serving up dishes centred on high-quality ingredients, with a focus on grilled fish, meats, and seasonal vegetables, allowing each element to speak for itself. Dishes on the launch menu include;
- Rabbit stifado, whipped polenta, Mavrodaphne sauce
- Monkfish kebab, wilted wild greens, olive oil
- Cornish Launceston lamb shoulder, braised lentils, labneh, parsley
The wine programme will reflect the same thoughtful approach, offering an eclectic and carefully curated list designed to appeal to both dedicated oenophiles and guests seeking reassurance in quality and balance.
They say they're aiming to bring a fresh perspective to modern Greek dining in London, combining understated cooking with a strong sense of hospitality in the heart of Marylebone.
